I didn't really realise how much of a [censored] country England is untill this morning when i returned from Barbados.

 

Haven't seen any news or U.K. TV for a week and as soon as you start reading to catch up its just a constant barrage of misery.

 

Why the [censored] do we pay such high taxes for bugger all?

I NEVER watch the news. Its boring. It doesnt change the fact that I get paid a [censored] wage and work stupid hours and never have any money left a week after payday.

I already do work for charity's and am currently employed by the Government in a job where i think i can make a difference to society.

 

So far in "the job" i think i've changed a few peoples lives but it still doesn't change the fact that England is shite. for the honest hard working taxpayer we get fleeced big style, and for the honest non working non taxpayer they don't exactly get an easy time either.

 

For example: The Millenium!

What did the Government do for the public?

 

Built a dirty great big tent (in London) that is now used for [censored] all.

Threw a great big party including fireworks (in London) for all the public to see. Wow, it was great, you could almost see them from the north of England!!!!

Oh, speaking of charitable, i bet all those homeless people near the Embankment in London really enjoyed the fireworks that night. i bet they were thinking "well that was a big one, that could have provided me with a room for a month."

 

Face it, this country is shite. Yes it is better than some others but i bet there are not many people, including yourself, who will say thay are happy with what this country and what it offers them.

 

I would continue but i could be here all night.

As far as climate & way of life goes i could quite happily live in Ibiza all year round - but couldnt put up with the spanish & you cant beat the British club Scene

 

Would be lovely to live in this country if it had the Ibizian climate!

yeah fair point....BUT, one (of the many) reasons I look forward to going on holiday to Ibiza each year..is for the heat and the sun..might not be so appealin if it was like that all year over here...

 

and it was a little too hot for me in Ibiza this year (no air conditionin made it hell at times!)
