done me assignment *just* in c++, but urm... it says I need to put the .cpp file *i got that one*onto a floppy before submitting it..and the .exe file too... any ideas how I get it to compile me one of them? or does it do it automatically when saving the whole thing as a project? scratchchin.gif

next fing'.. it says it ain't menna' be clipped or text wrapped when I hand it in (the source code) but I need to add a margin to it so it dont get lost in the binding or summink confused.gif... any ideas how i'm menna' add a margin to me code or is there something simple that i'm missing? shrug.gif

oooo yeah, and is there anyway of doin something similar to a print preview in C++ Builder? coz' I don't want to be printing it out, to fing it's all clipped and stuff, and having to waste me credit... *yeah, the tight-arse uni make us lot pay a minimum 5 squid cred to be able to print..and at a whole 5p a tree leaf shocked.gif rip-off...jus'...yeah..anyway...so is there a "print-preview" styleeee option in c++ builder?

one las' fing' *i jus 'memberd' it*, does anyone have a clue what it means by putting "Quotation details" into me header at the top of the program? I've written me header, but I have no idea what "Quotation Details" are...? anyone any ideas?

Spunkmonkey,

If I were you I'd cut and paste the code into Word and format it there. (C++ looks minging if it "wraps"!)

I'm a bit puzzled by your post though. I mean, you've managed to write a C++ program without building it...? confused.gif How did you test it?

"Quotation Details" isn't a C++ term. Maybe your lecturer means your personal details (name, assignment, etc).

Ummm... why are you asking for C++ advice on ClubTheWorld? smile.gif

Didn't your lecturer explain how to use a compiler?
