let me just check to see where 'the death of hard dance' comes on my worry list.........

This threat makes Osama Bin Laden look like Dick Van Dyke.

how many hard house clubbers are out every weekend?? more than trance because there is more HH clubs cos thats what fills em.

I'm not sure what your point is Jay.

I'd (subjectively) say that hard house attracts more of a "caner" culture - the younger crowd who have to cane it every weekend. So in that sense, yes there is a greater demand for HH events because every man and his dog wants to listen to HH, and they want to listen to it every bloody day. But it doesn't mean that it won't die. I mean, speed garage was really big once.

Trance has peaked but it's not going away. An even better example is techno - relatively speaking there are [censored] all techno events, but is it dying? Is it [censored], it's as old as the hills, and still not going away.

Like Pepsi says, as long as there are people into a given scene, and it's not just a fad, it will continue to thrive.

Hmm. It's doing alright for a "fad". shrug.gif At least it's diversifying a bit more these days (albeit self-indulgently, and labelling every single spin-off genre as a genre in its own right...)

A few years ago I thought [prayed?] that teeny-bopper boy bands were just a fad...
