Maybe im missing something here, but if the adverts on telly for things like tampax are anything to go by, you actually have a more fun time whilst on your period.

 

what with all your roller skating and skydiving, it seems if you wear a tampon you can have more fun than at any other time of your month.

adverts should not be taken literally though Jay - consider the -10, +25, -7 one - it would have you believe that inserting cotton wool up your minge is 5 times more comfortable than lying in a big fluffy duvet.

 

also - period blood is not blue. i was particularly disappointed when i found this out.
