i wouldnt say it was hard ....its got 1 or 2 harder edged tunes on it and one industrial techno tune , some tunes r more hard trancyish pushin to hardstyle

the first tune is the biggest load of shite ive heard in my life. things improve but it aint my thing at all.

the really hard tunes are just dumb sounding. some of it is ok, but when its mixed up with all that other dross, it just dont work.

 

not that you want it, but my advice is.. refine your style and work on ya levels... some tunes are a lot louder than others..

I dont mind reading any critisism but slagging someones mix off goes a bit far IMO.

The two of you play completely different styles and although i have never heard you play out Mod - i know you are talented. I have heard Nick play out quite a lot & know hes equally as talented but plays a different genre. Personally if it wasnt my cup of tea i wouldnt even be commenting whether good or bad comments

thank you sarah , i know quite well that my normal style of music i play with is INDUSTRIAL TECHNO / HARDCORE TECHNO , would b far to hard to the ance in ya pants cheesey trance , by all means u could of said " thats mix is ok man blah blah but not my style , BUT no u had to go that little bit more and slag it off as well as slagin me off all in one go which i do find not amuseing at all ,

u cant judge some 1 by mixin and blending tunes , your style id way different to my way of mixin.....

 

 

o mod 1 just a question do u play out much ??? how big r u as a dj ?? at the age of 29 i would expect to be big in the scene i was playin in , and seeing as iv JUST started mixin hardstyle this year , im sure i could b a lot biger in a music scene that u will ever b in your little world mr super star !! so u might aswell stay at home and listen to your judge the fudge jules cds and keep your sarky comments to your self

Im not having a go i was just stating something a lot of people need to get across better - its not what you say its the way in which it is said

I immediately started to feel like i had to defend Nick - not just cos he is a mate but just felt it was said in a slightly harsh if not patronising way

i dont claim to be a superstar m8. i dont play out much and i dont really push myself. ive only been djing after a break of 7 years since january. so in effect i too have only been doing it a year..

 

i listened to it cos i wanted to hear what proper hardstlye was all about... i try not to comment on anything if i have no real idea what im [censored] talking about... sorry i [censored] bothered cos i havent learnt alot.

Thing is Nick these Trance heads think their really cool and think their muzik is intelligent 'n [censored] (kinda like Techno freakz really) and probably get off dissin other peoples choice of muzik.
