CS is a fantastic game to play with all your mates ... if you have access to a network or a good internet connection.

 

I'm not sure it's so good online (because you get a lot of geeks who are far too good at it!)

CS is fantastic if you get into it. The graphics look a bit dated now, but the game is very immersive & tense.

 

It's ideal if you can be in the same room as some of your team-mates, so you can work together effectively. Otherwise it's a lot more frustrating trying to communicate by typing!

 

Return To Castle Wolfenstein is also an excellent team game. (I haven't really played anything more recent.)

i used to play it, but always seemed to have difficulty reinstalling it. when i get my new set up in jan i mite be up for it, but i'd have thought there should be something more technically advanced rivalling counterstrike by then

 

i enjoy the instant death by stupity factor, as i'm very stupid

I like the [relative] realism of Counterstrike (e.g. a shot in the head = instant death!)

 

Makes the game very tense (or very annoying if you are playing against pros...)
