Hardstyle is essentially gabba structured as trance tunes- ie with a fairly slow beat but with big bass noises and more elctronica style nasty noises.

 

Done properly it is fantastic stuff!

i really need to discover the difference between hardstyle and german hardtrance (the stuff that goes duff-wub-duff-wub for 7mins, before a new duff-wub-duff-wub kicks in) is... I used to think that WAS hardstyle (yoji/cally + juice label themselves as being hardstyle which is why this is all so confusing lol)

Ikon is about the best hardstyle dj i have heard play out yet - speak to him about getting a cd done although you will have to join the queue as ive been wanting one for ages!

Ok, I have a bit a couple of assignments that need doing before the end of the week and a couple over xmas but I will find some time over my holidays to sort one out. I need to do one for Tony anyways.

its played at around 145 to 150bpm. has hard beats and a breakdown. thats sounds like harddance to me

I didnt think goodgreef was classed as a hardstyle night - it used to be primarily a hardhouse night. For hardstyle nights try Know:fear - part of Species or Religion in Notts
