If your not looking for somewhere that is fancy and you can handle sharing a room with a bunch of other people I suggest staying in a hostel somewhere. There are heaps around London and you can get rooms sharing with about 5 other people for around £12 a night.

 

More expensive if you want less people. But alot cheaper than a hotel...

 

And really, your only going to sleep there!
