Odd dream - what could it mean?

This guy started a fight with me, I tried to run away but he kept following me so I punched him in the face and he died.

 

Then I had to go on the run for murder.

I would say it means you have an active imagination, that or it was a dream about something you had heard/watched/read about during the day before you slept.

I reckon it's pretty much as it sounds: -

 

It signifies there's something in your life that you're not happy with. You're trying to escape it, but are not succeeding therefore you must face it head-on in order to erradicate it. The dream is telling you that you WILL defeat it but only if you face it (running from it will not make it go away).

 

However, for defeating this original problem you will be faced by others which you must also deal with. You can run but the only way to overcome them is to face the music. Bit of an ongoing battle, and although it's not over it does sound generally positive.
