Jarve it was "24 hour party people" which was an absolute shite of a film..but coogan was and is always very funny! laugh.gif

Although The Office is very funny and clever..i still think Alan Partridge was the best by miles! Especially the first series wen he was staying in the hotel thumbs.gif

If i should die this very moment,
I wouldn't fear,
For i have known completeness like being here.
Wrapped in the warmth of you,
Loving every breath of you,
Still my heart this moment or it might burst,
Can we stay right here,
Untill the end of time,
Till the seas stop churning,
Wanna love you till the seas run dry.
Cos Ive found the one i am searching for...........the one.

I dont think I've EVER watched it ! Sometimes the name alone puts me off (wrongly)

I assumed Little Briton was about politics and/or economics of the country - I only JUST started watching it the other week ! nut.gif

Some of it is funny, but some of it is a far-inferior, and quite blatant, rip off of The League of Gentlemen. shrug.gif

Sorry Andy - League Of Extraordinary Gentlement was SHITE ! wink.gif

James- that was the film with Shaun Connery- I presume he's referring to the TV programme?

To be honest I just didn't get it at all...

Red Dwarf is a good suggestion though.

I spent New Year with my younger sister- we went to Turnmills and then got up to mischied back at my flat- we were so monged that we set ourselves a task a day to achieve. Task one was to go and buy 'Father Ted' on DVD (I'd never seen it). Task achieved I watched 13 episodes over the next two days and thought it was fantastic...

Straight into the Top ten with a bullet...

Best book/film about men and their fascination with lists is 'High Fidelity'...

... although that sketch reeks of the "local shop" sketch in the LOG.

He is the best without a shadow of a doubt!

apart from that i like the gossiping busy-body type in the restaurant with the husband, a couple of the gay sketches, the lazy bald git in the wheelchair - but not a lot else i'm afraid

I thought '24 hour party people' was fantastic...

Steve Coogan is the actor's name.

If you listen to the laughter in Episode 4 of I'm Alan Partridge (the second series)(the one with the 'Bank Holiday Bondathon') you will hear my laughter all over the soundtrack (I was wetting myself during filming)...

Don't forget Alan's first chat show series- 'Knowing Me, Knowing You with Alan Partridge'.

He is still the first chat show host to shoot a guest LIVE on BBC television...
