Dani, you should do Morzine in the French alps if you like downhill Mtb. I was cycling there this year and loads of MTB there. You get a ski lift up and bomb it down!

Like bike park wales then. They have the lifts up.   I can’t hack the peddling up I end up pushing.  To used to my e bike and only go once or twice a year. 
 

defo something for the bucket list when we haven’t got the kids. None of them fuckers will cycle.  😂

Well they bloody won’t.  Spent a fortune on bikes for them and they always have excuses not to come out.    At least we didn’t spend half as much as our bikes cost.    My electric bike was £2.4k And my mountain bike £800 

selling the electric one when I pass to fund a car 😂

Haha nice. I bought a brand new mountain bike last july. Wasn't cheap but wasn't as expensive as Simon's. I can count on 1 hand how many times I've used it 👀

Sounds fun.  I’m really slow as still don’t have the confidence but I love the rush from it.   I tend to scream “omg” most the way down 🤣

my MTB is a hard tail as I don’t do downhill often enough to warrant a full suspension 

the other half sold his MTB and road bike and just has his gravel bike now so he can go off road and on where we live.  There’s no where to go MTB properly by us but lots of road and off road tracks.  If he goes bike park wales he hires and when in Scotland his brothers have multiple bikes he can use. 
 

they made me use one at red rock in the highlands and the handlebars were just way to wide for me.

I can’t stand road/ gravel bikes.  I love chunky tires.
