Hats off to those who came down last week to Sessions for a bumper lineup of Shan, myself, Ben Stevens b2b Mark Maitland, Will Graney, Filthy Rich and Domski. Ben celebrated his birthday down at the club and we hear things got suitably messy afterwards too.

 

This week, and in association with our popularity rise with Biscuitmonsters.com, we welcome Alex Kidd, Caroline Banx and Scouse Mouse to the turntables.

 

We see a Sessions debut for Scouse Mouse who promises to rock. Caroline’s recent success can be attributed to a lot of things – her no holds barred rough style make her a definitive one to watch and she has recently been applauded and rewarded in many ways – mixing the latest ‘Hard House Anthems’ for Nukleuz, being signed to the Nukleuz agency and being noted as a recent ‘Mixmag Future Hero’.

 

Alex is becoming a firm favourite in Leeds, even more so that what he already was. His recent sets of late at Sessions and Incision exemplify his energetic style. Alex’s A&R responsibilities for Goodgreef (together with bustling DJ schedule) ensure he’s kept on his toes!

 

Filthy Rich has rocked House Sessions to the rafters every week since we seized him after Base’s closure. A worthy choice! He is joined this week by Nick Brown (…and undoubtedly all of his travelling entourage!...).

 

The drinks? Yeah, once again we’re practically giving them away. £1 for Java, Fosters and Carling; £1.20 for spirit and mixer, £2 JD & Coke…… you get the picture.

 

Cancel Thursdays. It’s just not happening.
