well doctors, education people as we all have tests at some point. yeah your right his parents should of stopped him and the shop assistant shouldn't of sold it, but it happens, then again he shouldn't watch the news either really. esp with what's going on in that as well.

but we dont get tested unless a parent suspects. The health authorirty will not just randonmly test children!!

 

Possibly a teacher may pick up on it, but if it is a deep issue which can not be picked up on, what do you do??

 

Im sure the parents of Jon Venables and Robert Thompson, thought their son's were perfectly normal til they commited their crime

The only person to blame here is the lad who murdered that 14 year old, not anyone else.

yeh agree with Alex, the issues were clearly with this lad, he may have however gotten the idea for his crime from the game, but illness in his head made him do it

Unstable people take inspiration for their crimes from many sources, their own imagination, books, other people, media, etc...

 

It's a shame that it's usually the new source of entertainment that has the blame placed upon it.

 

Murder would still happen, just alot less imagintively without any form of media.
