Still not convimced I think Hed Kandi are TOO commercial, and don't think about their customers enough. I mean the brand is in every major town now.!!

so what if a brand is commercial or not as long as the music is still good? they're a business, they are out to make money.

its anoying when u get music snobs,

they like hed kandi but wont buy the album or be seen dead at an event cause its commercial

hrmm.... Kitty. I'll have you know, lady, that I went to the second ever Hed Kandi event at Rouge, and the third.

 

Been to HK at Pacha, more than once. + Stereo in Newcastle, and in Brighton, and bed once too.

 

For a long time Mark Doyle was one of my fav dj's, it's just i think unlike Serious, Indulge ect they are selling out a bit. And going down the crasher route.

I think the albums are superb, and own a fair few. But that the live events are disjointed and not really thought through.

 

I have no objections to an enterprise being succesful, but when they take their eyes off the ball. And i think HK live has, things start going to pot. Too many people at event's ect. +Hed kandi is Disco house, Deep house and Beach house, for over 25's so the venues they go to should reflect that. But they want to be in Pacha, which is not suited to three different styles as it only has one and half rooms. But does have a very large capacity so it's easier to make money... .

i definatly think they funked up over who they let in,

now im not discriminating but jeez they let in beer boys who stand on the dance floor beer in hand,not dancing,just oggling the girls.

ive been twice now,3 times next sat,and also the queue is ridiculous

we got there at 9.10pm ,checked to see if a queue and the queue was massive!

we were there till 11pm and we were by the front

 

its my mates b-day on 28th and the tickets are sold out,so means getting there at 9pm just to get in.

i love hed kandi and they have dancers and glitter stuff,which is good compared to other nights but if the popularity continues i can imagine tickets sold out a month b4 the night plus queue's starting at 8pm,its kinda worrying.

Yeah, the last time i went there it was so overcrowded i felt faint and people were getting crushed. I will give it anothe chance though cos the music is ace...
