CTW Members colin66 Posted August 5, 2004 CTW Members Share Posted August 5, 2004 QUOTE (SarahPvc @ Aug 5 2004, 15:54) i went at the beginning of june & it was pretty quiet Well it has always been farely quiet during that time. Mid July - end of August is peak season! Was there less than a week ago and there is still no place like it. It's not gonna get back to level it was at during the late 90's (for now at least) but who cares. Roll on September for the closing parties

Along with tunes like 'Flower power - Flower Power', 'Deep Dish - Flashdance' erm that's all I can remember for now. And before anyone says (Mr Moo included ) yes I know these tracks have been around for ages. These are the BIG tunes!

CTW Members russelldust Posted August 6, 2004 CTW Members Share Posted August 6, 2004 Agree with Colin on those Shapeshifters vs Brothers in Rhythm' Lola's Theme/Such a Good Feeling' Deep Dish 'Flashdance' Junior Jack 'Stupid Disco' (I love this track) Rhythm is Rhythm 'Strings of Life' (Danny Krivit Edit). Not sure why this is now being caned so much as I've had since since last year. Maybe it's a re-reedit TBH there weren't that many 'new new' tunes I heard that blew the roof off... Still my highlight was hearing Greece 2000 'Three Drives on Vinyl' at Cream Amnesia (I think it was by PVD) in the middle of the Ice Cannon with Darren and the lovely Louise... though it could also have been Armin Van Buuren the week after, in the ice cannon with the very lovely myself. A big tune in DC10 (which is on the Space and DC10 CDs, but as I've been listening to it on my CD walkman with its dead display I haven't yet worked out which track it is) is one that sounds like it goes: 'We call it bang bang' waaargghhh, waaarggghh. 'We call it bang bang' I know for a fact that isn't what is sung as I think it's actually some Spanish/Italian, but it sounds like that to me much of the time.
