Any new outlook for this new year that we are wading into?

 

I for one have decided to not go to anymore of these shit hard house do's that have exactly the same line-up (pretty much) week after week (its really put me off clubbing loads and i actually want to enjoy it when i go out....lol).

 

ive decided to try and not be online as much as i was b4 (not every bloody night anyway...) cos i find i never get anything done (and its sad...lol)

 

I start a new residency in Peterborough on march 4th.. not sure if il be on every month, but hope to see some of you there...

 

I've started DJ'ing Techno again (and yes...im gonna be a real snobby bastard about what techno i play tongue.gif ) so expect to hear some of that from me at some point. (Non-cheesy Trance is still on the menu tho wink.gif )

well Ian, if you gonna do a techno demo, can I please have one???

 

 

Im cutting clubbing down this year but trying lots of different events, really into Nu energy collective & after seeing Chris Liberator & Mark EG belt a corker techno set sat, def more techy events too!! biggrin.gif

Sven Vath, Jeff Mills, Richie Hawtin. thats my kinda techno. Minimal and Groove based... not just hard and 'Techy' (thats my new word of hate!!! lol.. as far as i can tell it just means well produced!!! haha)

Well done Ian - good for you mate !

 

I will be doing a lot more Trance & Funky nights this year - less and less HH. I'm also VERY interested in any Techno nights people are arranging/playing at so let me know !

Im cutting down on cheesy clubbing, went to my favourite cheesy club last nite and its now shit.

 

Am going out to more proper clubbing nites this year (cardiffs line ups are really good atm)

I was going to post a gag about flagellation, necrophilia and bestiality but it's just flogging a dead horse.

hmmmm...

ben simms surgeon and marc broom are top class!

derrick may will be very over rated tho (bit of a lazy money grabber as far as im concerned... just cos he wrote 'strings of life' dont make him a headliner IMHO) when i saw him at he orbit (christ... a while ago now..lol... he was rubbish.. detroit techno legend my arse!!!)
