trance now sounds all the same imo. all the same sounding synths, same structure, aiming to create the biggest euphoric hands in the air moment

 

trance was quality up until about 2001 and then fell off very sharply. Think it even was declining b4 then tbh

 

its very rarely now that i hear a trance tune and actually have to go out and get it asap

There is a lot of shit out there yes ben, but there is a hell of a lot of good stuff, same with any genre... look at hard house ffs!

 

Trance is more driving these days than Euphoric. Trance did go shit at about 2001, but its evolved since then and is slowly coming back into "fashion"

As Squeakage says get yourself down to a Serious @ The Cross, and then i'll find it very hard to believe that you would still say "Modern Trance Sounds the same"
