All modern trance is the same? Are you stuck in a time-warp? You're going to the wrong nights dude.

 

Trance is at its best ever - it's gone back underground. There's less cheesy nonsense, much tougher beats/basslines/production, and it's taken on a whole host of house/prog/techno/electro/hard influences. I'd say that on the whole, trance has gone in a much deeper, darker, more driving, progressive direction.
