2 new tracks....

Spent weekend down in London working on tracks with Jeff Sealey and have

come away with 2 of em - samples below... any feedback is GREATLY

appreciated :-)

 

Both samples are around 3mb in size so not too big for 56k users either :-)

145bpm dark/nasty techno tune

We wanted to keep away from the 'hardhouse wanna be techno' style, but it still has elements of both thanks to a nice bit of acid and a slightly different lead to it :-)

150bpm hard nrg track

Started this on Sunday morning as an alternative apporach to hard nrg (ie, well produced for a change hahaa) - see if you can spot the sample :-)

plz note, 2nd track obviously wont ever be getting a release because of the sampled bit - was just made for a laugh ;-)

Has to be said Chris, Im loving both! 1st one is right up my street and is the sort of stuff i love dropping mid set. The track strips down, and builds back up nicely and like you said isnt a stereotypical hardhouse wanting to be techy. Just really like the overall feel of the track.

The 2nd, tbh i thought i wouldnt like it. But was pleasantly suprised. I would play this out too. Cheeky as fuck sample (Base EP??) but it fits nicely into the track. I like it cos its not in your face, its hard and driving, but in a subtle way......which in my eyes is a good thing.

yup, sure is :-)

 

We ran out of time (started it on sunday morning after downing a fair bit of booze at jeff's and purple turtle on saturday hahaha) and so just nicked the lead from base ep part 1 (well spotted!)... will probably go back to it at some stage and change the lead cos the rest of the track is made from scratch so we have most of the stuff to work with already

aint gonna' be able to comment on the 'technical' type erm, stuff but just listened to 'em both...and they sound good enough to me ...

 

...definately recognised the sample in the second one ... just couldnt put a name to it

Its a shame no-one really bothers spending 2 mins listening to track and then a few more to give a little bit of feedback.

I for one understand what goes into making a track, and have appreciated any feedback i have been given.

 

Anytime you want to send me clips, or cds etc, feel free and I'll always give honest feedback.
