Can you carry your gf/be carried by ur bf?

I cant carry my gf, i'm such a weed.. and a nerd.. and a doofus etc. but shouldn't this be compulsary? So you can do that romantic swept off their feet stuff you see in films?

 

My gf isnt fat, its just that im a weakling
