On Louises leaving post she mentioned that her pm's had been accessed and tampered with, I for one didn't believe her and I wish I had now

 

Thinking back to some of the pm's I have received and supposedly sent, I should of thought more into it.

 

 

Yesterday a member on here posted my password. There was no need for the word to have been posted and it was in no way connected to the thread it was in.

It shouldn't of needed changing ... someone is either giving this information out or someone is hacking into the supposed security of the site.

I know you shouldn't need to change it but I would think it's more safer with letters and numbers. I'm not sure how the hacking comes into it as I woudn't have a clue how you would actually hack a password.

I guess what James can do (I m anot sure if he can) is check log in details by IP address. But then unless you know your account has been accessed when you have not been online, you would need dates and times I guess.

This is serious shit guys!!! I suggest evreyone for the time being, until James can get to the root, change their password regularly. I know we shouldnt have too etc, but if someone is getting into the system, which they have before on the old site, when it was hacked, it is best to be safe than sorry for the time being.

well I hope we do, as it is clearly causeing problems all ove r the shop with members etc & I for one want to get it sorted, its wrong, these are peoples personal messages, being looked into & if they are also sending other members messages form accounts, making it look like the said member, it is bang out of order grrr
