the people were refering to are just plain odd. blink.gif

Theres nothing wrong with being a freak, it all depends on what kind of freak you are.

Take me for example, totally strange but incredibley nice.

I think there's a good chance that this is (and I am guilty of it quite often) middle class people looking down on people who in general are poorer and take drugs to forget more than enjoy.

Shut it you pikey.

Just because we dont want to club with the scourge of our society doesnt necesarrily make us middle class.

if people are poor it's their own faults, education to apoint is free and everyone has that opportunity.

i have no sympathy for people who take drugs to forget, how about stop taking drugs and sort your fucking life out.

yikes.gif Whoa man read what I wrote.

1. Hey man don't disrespect my burberry sleazy.gif

2. Nobody can choose their parents

3. Parents can cause a lot of damage if you get the wrong ones

Just because I hang about street corners in a pair of kappa trakkies drinking white lightning without my mates doesn't mean I should be discriminated against as this to a large extent a free country. I'm also proud of my name brand clothing (for example, YSL, Perry, Burberry et al), because it makes me appear rich. yes.gif

people who take drugs to forget stuff are wankers.

it is so futile.

I'd say they are misguided; they haven't realised the trouble it will cause. Maybe they are distracted or haven't given the situation proper thought. Often they might come across as wankers, doesn't mean we can't take their situation in context and see why they are doing it. Doesn't mean it's right.. but everything ends up in a state because of a set of circumstances.

Last year I lost my Nan, I decided to go to the funeral and face my Dad who I had not seen in 3yrs (he is an abusive drunk with mental problems).

I had to face a lot that day and to top it off neither me nor my brothers were mentioned in the surmon when they read out the grandchildrens names.

That was the hardest day of my life to this day.

Last year I don't remeber much as I chose to go out every weekend and be with my friends and have a 'release'. It was not that I was trying to forget, as I never will forget, but maybe to try and escape. Probably not the best way to deal with things but hey a lot oif stuff we do is never the 'best'.

I deal with what happened every day, because my father lives just up the road from me. Who knows what will happen in my life, but if I choose to go out and have a release then I do not consider myself a wanker for doing that.

Sometimes you just need to go wild, everyone has their vices of how they deal with things...as long as you are aware of what you are doing.

As you know, my Mum died last November & it had the opposite effect on me.

Yeah, agreed. Everyone needs to blow of steam once in a while, but getting fucked is no solution. if anything when you have the comedown or whatever the problem is exacerbated by being down in the dumps & over analysing.

it is a vicious circle in my opinion.

I never said getting fucked was a solution Jay and it probably isn't to a lot of people, it's just a way to release everything that is built up inside you, well it is for me on occasions anyway. I know that trying to pretend everything is OK and get 'off my brain' all the time is not going to solve the problem, that's just stupid as we all know that it would only be a matter of time before we crumble and the situation is worse.

I guess what I am trying to say is that everyone deals with different issues in different ways. It is not right to say to someone they are a wanker for dealing with a problem by using drugs.

I do not condone it and say 'everyone it's alright to do', I'm simply saying people need to let off steam sometimes and there are so many vices or ways in which you can do that and not be a wanker for doing it.
