Just watched 'Hellboy' again, and despite it looking like absolute toss from trailers, its the best film I have seen all summer so far BY AN ABSOLUTE MILE

 

Never heard of anyone in the cast, but the script, storyline and special effects make this (imo) the best comic book-to-film yet!!!

 

The only negative point is the ending which is a bit of an anti-climax in comparison to what has lead upto it, cos it just kinda ends suddenly... not too badly though!!

 

Defo worth seeing if your a fan of xmen/spiderman etc films

tis a crackin film. have seen the cast in a few things, esp hellboy as i know the actor has been in a few things i've seen. but what i can't recall, lol

The dude that plays Hellboy has been in a few movies. He has a big freaky looking head I'm sure he's played loads of villains except the movies have been shite so I can't remember what movies he has been in. I do know that I have seen him in a few things things.

Hes been in Blade 2, Alien Resurrection, The Name of the Rose, Star Trek Nemesis, Police Academy 6...LOADS of things.

Not a bad film, was expecting it to be pants but it was as good as any other comic movie ive seen

Just got back from the cinema and I thought it was a good film. Very comicee, which is NEVER a bad thing.

 

Quite humerous in places aswell.

 

Saw the trailer for AvP (Alien Vs. Predator) and it looks BRILLIANT (much better thatn the CG one looks)

 

Also looking forward to Blade Trinity (Blade 3) due for release on the 10th December.

AVP does look good!! Unfortunately a decision was made (the director was not happy about this) that the film needed to be a PG for release and as a concequence lots of the film was cut (including sections of the film where the CG was still in post production).

 

Good news though, is that it the Director has vowed to release an 18 certificate version for DVD (with the CG scenes that weren't ready in time for the studios release date).

Well there hasn't been much competition! I'll certainly agree that it looks toss in the trailers.

You might not have recognised Ron Pearlman because he's wearing a bit of make-up in the film.
