Manchester Bounce Charity Event

@ Club North, Manchester - Friday 17th September.

The Bounce returns to Manchester for a one off special, in aid of The Meningitis Trust.

 

The Meningitis Trust is an international charity with a strong community focus, fighting meningitis through the provision of support, education & awareness and research.

 

Proceeds from this night will help some of the wonderful services they provide:

 

24 hour Helpline led by specially trained nurses

 

Network of community groups and volunteers

 

One to One Contacts

 

Professional counselling service (available in UK & ROI)

 

Financial grants (UK only)

 

Home Visiting service (UK only)

 

We have chosen this charity because Burgs family have had to deal with this desease 1st hand:

 

“The main reason I’ve decided to help out with this night is that all the proceeds will go to a charity that mean’s a lot to me, The Meningitis Trust’ as three Generation’s of my mum’s side of the Family have suffered from this Disease.

 

First of all my Nan’s uncle died from Meningitis when he was Fourteen, my Nan’s Sister died from it when she was five year’s old and then my Nan suffered from the disease when she was eighteen and survived with no Ill effects”

 

“But the last person to suffer from Meningitis in my Family was my Mum. Fifty odd years ago when she was 11 weeks old my Mum survived after catching the disease, but was left profoundly deaf (Unable to Hear anything) and it also effected her vision”

 

“It can do my head in sometime knowing she’s never going to hear me DJ in a club or listen to one of my CDs’ Little thing’s like that that we all take for granted. So this night is going to be one to remember”

 

“Please come along and show your support and let’s make some money and have fun at the same time for a very worthy cause, kind regards, Burg. ”

All proceeds from this night will go toward the Meningitis Trust. All we ask from you lot is a minimum £5 donation on the door with donations being taken on the night.
