Right u orrible lot! As you all are well aware of, recently various events have caused many of the regulars to up sticks and leave the board!!!! In light of this i feel it is now time to reach into bowels of clubland and pull out as many new CTW'ers as poss!!!!!!

 

So we need sensible ideas, ideas to bring them in and ideas to keep them here!!!

 

And i'll start them off:

 

1) I reckon it would be a good idea if we all made a tiny little space on our signiturez on other boards for a www.clubtheworld.uk link which would invite prospective members to the board!

- Laminated hand out cards, credit card sized. So when you chat to randoms (which I regularly do when clubbing) you can hand these out.

 

- There should be more sponsorship for nights. Who manages DJ bookings for CTW DJ's, does this exist? If not then why not...surely this would be a good way to get CTW DJ's out there as well as the brand and be included in more nights.

 

- CTW private parties (these do not have to cost anything, you could ask each member to chip in £3 each and charge guests that come along £5).

 

- Improve management of website and layout. For example CTW's main night that it associates with is Wildchild, yet if you look at the calendar it's not even on for the 29th!

 

- Maybe get some advertising in some mags, Mixmag, DJ mag etc.

Where the Calendar is concerned, how many people actually help with inputting events ?

 

I know I always put a shit load in - but I Think it's also up to others to help put them in too (for the ones who actually want the Calendar updated every week, at least).

I put stuff in the calender sometimes, normally Serious events as i always know when they are on...

Just ideas Maria, have no clue what people do on here and who's responsible for what. That's good that cards are already available, how many people actually have these?

 

Could someone not take on the responsibilty of checking what events are scheduled and getting them up on the calender. The Wildchild night has been scheduled for ages with posts on here yet it's not on the calender. Just an observation.

 

Great that Tony is sorting DJ and event bookings.

We got a few batches of cards - maybe PM James your address and he will send you a box - there are quite a few in each box. I think at least 50 were given out at the last Frantic event.

 

They are well nice cards, too !

Also for CTW DJ's, could Tony not manage a main feature on here? For example a list of who the CTW DJ's are, their schedules, interviews etc.

Tony doesn't do it anymore hon, as he has left due to some of the hassle on here (

Let's do it, we could be CTW's advertising queens. We can definitely look into prices and sizes, I reckon some fractionals at the back would be great.
