As I already said, as it is Alasdairs night it should be up to him to decide where he wants to go, which he has said central is easier.

 

When arranging these things it is far easier to stick to one venue and time and go from there unless there is a hell of a need to change it. Which there isn't.

 

You haven't even confirmed for def that you are even going to come yet.

 

I know Tash will be cool about Leicester Square, and if it is as close as you say to Holborn then popping into Leicester Square to meet everyone should not be a problem.

 

If everyone wants to move on from where we are on Thursday and go elsewhere together then cool....as long as we are all together, thats the point of this meet up.

 

It really doesn't matter where we go, but we need one spot that doesn't change to start from.

 

Hopefully see you on Thursday, have added you to the list.

Have you never been to Yates in Leicester Square Ben? Sorry if details are not that clear. There is only 1 Yates in Leicester Square. It is next to the Odean cinema.

See James's comments about people arriving at different times and not necessarily posting to say they're coming. In my experience it is much better to stay in one place.

Like I said, it isn't a major deal to me which pub we meet at. But it's a joke how YOU have suggested the place that (quite clearly) YOU want to go to and blatantly written off any other suggestions. This is not exactly democratic!

 

I think Tasha's suggestion is better all round, unless you have a better plan.

Personally I am thinking from someone who does not live in London and would not know it that well. Just thinking what is easiest.

 

You may have been lighthearted but you have made me feel like shit, so thanks for that. I kind of feel like now I can't be bothered with sorting this out.

 

All I want to do is meet up with someone who is over here for a while.

And thats why I am just sticking to leaving it as it is at the moment. I've sent Alasdair a PM asking where he wants to go, Holborn or Leicester Square. Again, he can decide whats easiest for him.

I think you have somewhat misled Alasdair by describing Holborn as "near Kings Cross" when it is in fact near Tottenham Court Road.

Wetherspoons is VERY close to Holborn tube. It would be very easy to find for somebody who didn't know the area.
