I am quite enjoying it, gona watch the British kid in the finals of Boxing this afternoon !

Watching the Olympics makes me wish I was a runner again. sad.gif

If you had to take part in the Olymics and you were asked to choose a sport to be trained up on, which would it be ?

For me, it would deffo be the 25 times around teh track jobby. Can't remember how many metres that is ? :S

Edgy? As in you're nervous in case they fuck up? Yeah I get that, I'm always really worried for them when they attempt some ambitious display of skill. It's so fun to watch though, especially when they're just on the mat doing all those backflips and launching themselves into the air, it's great

Yeah - although im 10 X more edgy watching the Pole Vault !

Incase they were to fall back on them selves or the pole snaps.

I watched all the gymnastics. The GB team was just an utter embarrassment in comparision to the rest of the world. I can't believe how much we fucked up, haha.

I think I've watched most of it. I've had the house to myself so me and a few mates have just sat watching the olympics.

I remember the good old days when I'd have had a party. Only just though, my memorys not what it was. sad.gif

Anyone fancy a bongle with bungle?

i think i'd LIKE to try windsurfing, altho i've never really done it. cos it's real racing, not INTENSELY physical, and you're in control of something, which means an extra skill.

I think pole vaulting is amazing but I'd never try it.

how did our boxer do?

I use to watch the Olympics YEARS ago when it was all Sebastian Coe, Steve Cram, Steve Ovett and Daley Thompson.

It seems to have lost its appeal now though....or am I just getting old?

I watched quite a bit of it, but looking forward to the Paralympics starting this week.

My Dad has won medals in the Paralymipcs in America and Seoul, so very proud of him ukflag.gif

He is not competeing this year as he is too old now.

But if you have never watched it before then I urge you to watch, these athletes have so much skill, they are wonderful.
