par boil your spuds then shake them up together then lightly dust with flower before roasting them and you'll have the best roasts ever.

But only if you cook the spuds in with the meats after you've boiled them and shook them about a bit yes.gif

Parboiled them and shook em up.. (ian had no collinder so had to do it in a bowl) but cooked em in sunflower oil - they were scrummy

as were the honey roasted parnips smile.gif

in fact it was all yummy - went down a treat grin.gif

also asked Ian if he has a measuring jug and he was like yeh i do! i said where is it.. he said in the bathroom holding his shaving stuff

needless to say I didn't use that.... blink.gif

I got put off roast dinners at an early age cos my dad used to make really lumpy gravy and the lumps reminded me of blood clots for some reason

Roast dinners ARE easy to cook, I use to do it quite alot.

I use to love having Bernard Matthews Turkey Roasts every few weeks when I was married. Fookin de-lish.

IMO, the worst thing about sunday roast is the washing up afterwards.
