CTW Members Bungle Posted August 29, 2004 CTW Members Share Posted August 29, 2004 Make sure you let the meat rest for a bit before you carve it so that it relaxs and is nice and tender Quote Anyone fancy a bongle with bungle?

Guest Kether
par boil your spuds then shake them up together then lightly dust with flower before roasting them and you'll have the best roasts ever.
CTW Members Ginge Posted August 29, 2004 CTW Members Share Posted August 29, 2004 I find that a tea spoon of english mustard in the gravy gives a nice tangy taste.

But only if you cook the spuds in with the meats after you've boiled them and shook them about a bit

CTW Members Ginge Posted August 31, 2004 CTW Members Share Posted August 31, 2004 Roast dinners ARE easy to cook, I use to do it quite alot. I use to love having Bernard Matthews Turkey Roasts every few weeks when I was married. Fookin de-lish. IMO, the worst thing about sunday roast is the washing up afterwards.
