CTW Members Nick G Posted September 3, 2004 CTW Members Share Posted September 3, 2004 Thanks to Kingster for bringing this event to my attention. Yet another exceptional line up of some of the most respected DJ's & Producers in the scene. Miss this at your peril !! Milk 'N' 2 Sugars Friday 8th October 2004 . 10pm - 6am @THE END 18a West Central Street WC1 MAIN ROOM DANNY KRIVIT (Body & Soul, NYC) TIMMY REGISFORD (Shelter, NYC) ALAN JINX CHAMBERLAIN (MN2S) BAR FULL INTENTION (D-Tension) HARDSOUL (Holland) KENNY CHARLES (MN2S) People get ready...the long wait is about to come to an end. Milk'n'2 Sugars is proud to announce the next installment of their enormously successful night at London's clubbing hot-spot...The End. After a complete sell-out event in April, the MN2S crew is back in full force, ready to wipe out any oncoming feelings of Autumn dullness. Milk'n'2 Sugars, which enjoys an ever growing reputation, is ready to bring you another outstanding night of funky and soulful House, set to be remembered for weeks (or even months!) to come. The line-up is once again heaving with the hottest names in the game... Gracing the decks in the main room will be no other than the much in demand Danny Krivit, part of the team behind New York's renowned Body & Soul. One of the world's unrivalled connoisseurs of disco and underground dance culture, Krivit, who has recently given Soul Central's dance floor stormer 'Strings Of Life' a disco-edgy re-edit treatment, will deliver nothing less than his winning combination of soulful New York Garage/House, lush Latin vibes and energetic Afro beats. The maestro will be joined by no other than Timmy Regisford, resident at New York's highly influential 'Club Shelter'. Regisford's vision is to create a heaven of fun and beautiful music, so there is no doubt that we are in for a special treat this October. Last but not least, The End will see ever quality-delivering MN2S resident Alan 'Jinx' Chamberlain, showcasing his talent. The Bar will once again welcome the superb Full Intention, best known for their unique UK/US fused house style and uplifting sets. Not content with this treat, Dutch duo Hardsoul will be contributing to the action. Brothers Roog and Greg have made a major impression with their beautiful anthem 'Back Together' last year and are set to continue their success with the recent MN2S release The Hardsoul EP 'Ekudad' / 'Crusaders'. The duo will be joined by MN2S resident Kenny Charles, who will ensure the bar will be rocking all night long! The decor will be, as always, spectacular, sexy and stylish...something that makes the Milk'n'2 Sugars nights stand out...House heaven is only one step away! £10 b4 11 pm, £12 thereafter, £5 after 3.30am, £8 concessions FOR FURTHER INFORMATION, PLEASE CALL MN2S ON 0207 378 7321 Email: info@mn2s.com Web: www.mn2s.com @THE END 18a West Central Street WC1

CTW Members Nick G Posted September 7, 2004 Author CTW Members Share Posted September 7, 2004 QUOTE (kingster28 @ Sep 6 2004, 13:24) It's gonna be some gas when Hardsoul drop Back Together....large,large! You know that! And if Strings Of Life goes off as much as it did when Copyright dropped it in The Bar at Ministry on Saturday - chaos will ensue!!! Hope there are a few more 'headz' in the house for this event to appreciate the set that Krivit's known for - the Defected lot weren't really feeling it on Saturday - they're more out for a good stomp (for want of a better term) than a nice soulful bop lol. Either way this event's gonna cause damage! Personally looking forward to seeing Timmy Regisford - guaranteed to provide 100% aural satisfaction
CTW Members kingster28 Posted September 8, 2004 CTW Members Share Posted September 8, 2004 (edited) Yeah I know what you are saying about Krivit, he is more likely to drop soulful disco bombs and take the crowd of a journey rather than what a defected crowd is used to...a lot of filters and vocal breakdowns....it's gonna be a good un no doubt and I've heard good things about regisford..is he body and soul resident?
