All i know is that americans are big into scientology...it all sounds a bit odd to me! Then all kinds of religion scares the shit out of me anyway.....

Like most religions, I find it worrying. So long as it stays in the realms of the rich celebs who part with small fortunes to keep it going and is not used to justify anything inhumane then I'm not too bothered by it.

Obviously it is a reletively new religion, why do you think these people feel the need to make new ones up, do we not have enough conflicting religions?

Ah well ... if it has some sort of moral basis and is an "Old Testament" free zone then I suppose we should be grateful for that.

True. They do seem to have kept their noses clean with this religion. No "Jihads" or massacres.

Religion is about control. It's a great way to get large numbers of people to obey you and to do so without question.

which I think is half the problem with the world we live in power and religion, the two seem to go together so well
