As stated before if the current state of the site isnt what you want then what are you doing here.

 

Have faith that we are doing all we can to improve the site but there are no gaurantees as to when enhancements can be made.

 

This is a free site which isnt free to run

Wow, that was an easy way to brush things under the carpet... Is that the mentality of ClubTheWorld??? We'll do what we want and if you don't agree or don't like it we'll either ban you or delete your posts???

 

As you know James, I don't bother to post much anymore due to the bias of the moderators and their cronyism... Do you want all the members on here that aren't in the select group to leave or do you want them to know that if one of those in the select few wants to pick on them then they will be picked on and they can't do anything about it.. if they complain, nothing will be done, if they retaliate then they'll be banned...

Hey Rick ... I don't have any personal problems with you ... but if you hate the board so much why do you hang around slagging it off?

 

It is nobody's absolute "right" to be on here. I can't really comment on the "select group" thing (I have mixed feelings but I'm not really interested in taking sides) ... but if you think it's cliquey/fascist/inbred/sad/whatever, and you're so convinced that things aren't gonna change, what do you hope to achieve by repeatedly attacking the site?

Simply because I do care and there is a hope (though small admittedly) that James will actually get the site back to what it was before all the shit kicked off in the first place and that possibly the Mods will actually start to be unbiased towards members... Is that too much to hope for??

I think his points are valid, the "if you don't like it anymore then piss off" arguement is childish and completely missing the point. Rick's been on the site for years and obviously cares about the site but is disappointed with the way things are now. If someone has a negative opinion about the site why does that make it less valid than anyone else's. It's not only Rick who shares these opinions also, this has been a reccurent theme for a while now.

1) Mods/Admins not returning PM's or trying to solve problems.

2) The bias banning of people who don't conform to the mods/admins viewpoint and are not friends of said mods/admins.

3) The banning of people sticking up for themselves due to said people not being in favour with the mods/admins.

4) Not banning favourable (to mods/admins) people for being plain nasty to other members, yet banning those who are not in favour for the same. (I can give examples if you want).

5) Mods/Admins locking/deleting posts simply because they are controversial to the site or to the mod/admin in question.

 

That's a start...

 

Do you think something will be done about these issues though??
