On the morning of my birthday I have had to come here and scold you lot

 

 

You call yourselves adults .....your like a bunch of kids in the school playground.

First of all let me say when I first came to CTW I thought you ALL where a horrible bunch of people especially Creamy C. What ever I wrote he would come back at me with a torrent of abuse like f*** of you welsh bitch I really took offence at that considering (i'm Irish) .

 

No matter what I posted he and others would slay me with abuse but then I met the reknown Creamy C and what a surprise I had a nicer guy I have never met.

 

I dont know any of you people here in person but I have got an insight as to what kind of people you are from Maria when she meets up with you all at your various gatherings and I can honestly say she has never said a bad word against any of you she has always said what a great bunch of people you all are.

 

I have learnt that what happens on the board is just and should be taken in fun but yes I agree with you sometimes it seems as if people are having a go at you and no one knows that better than me as I felt like leaving after my first vist here.

 

What we have got to remember......and I really am not taking James side here is:

 

THIS IS A FREE SITE TO US..............James is giving you the privlege of coming on here .....he's the one that is paying for the site so come on people give him a break or do you want him to pull the plug??????????

 

I for one would miss you all ......and that's saying something

 

Use the board as it is intended to be used have fun make friends not enemies

Maybe we should have a "Chill out forum"

 

But seriously if you really don't like it here you are free to leave....just dont keep coming back harping on about the same old thing

To the CTW 'gang': it's up to you if you want to go on a banning spree. I can understand it sucks the big one when all your existing members just seem to be being negative, but I hardly think that the answer is to ban everyone, and delete all the threads that you feel slightly embarrassed about.

 

I like all the moderators as people, but I don't understand what you seek to achieve by just removing people for (what I can only assume to be) personal reasons. It's your prerogative, but don't expect me to hang around when all my mates have been banned...

 

I definitely agree that there has been "one rule for mods, another for members" (though I don't necessarily fully agree with the way certain people have stated their opinions).

 

I don't claim to have all the answers, but I know the answer isn't to bury your heads in the sand. I'm still hugely grateful to CTW -- I've had lots of fun chat on the website, I've made loads of fantastic mates -- in some cases, friends for life, I would hope.

Where did Luu Luu's post go? I wanted to reply to that. I think she got some very unpleasant responses, considering how tactfully she worded her comments.

 

I'm sorry if you don't like her, but that's not really a reason to delete her post is it.

you know what russell your right, yes Tidybitch got a rough ride etc but it was realised & pm's were sent in way of an apology, it should never have happened & the involved parties are aware of the mistake & are sorry for it too

 

However how many posts have been made by other members also that have been harsh etc & how many members have left because of this, a few I can tell you, I have had a fair few pms & people say to me in the past they will not use CTw anymore because of how they have been treated by certain members from here, the ones that some of you lot seem in tent on thinking are/were wonderful, so it tells me that, all of us at some point are guilty of upsetting at times, be it intentionally or not, this is IMO the downside of msg boards, like texs, they can be hard to see what is ment or how to be taken

 

i think the best thing for all of us now, is the one's who do want to stick with us, do it & lets remember to read posts before clicking submit to see if it could poss offend & just try to have fun, as the board is intended for, those who do not, then im sorry you feel this way, but if leaving is what you want to do, then so be it, but please refrain from popping up every now & then to post threads you know will cause a row
