same thing happened to me month or so ago. i was driving home from club and fell asleep at the wheel on motorway,skidded and woke almost ploughing into central railing then swirved and continued to skid back and forth across all 3 lanes.spun round 3 times and went backwards 30 foot into a corn field,hitting an electrical box. i was very lucky to walk out not hurt.

 

Im sorry you got hurt ,i suppose this should teach us a lesson now
