Gas is far far more costly than electric, even though I have so many electronic devices left on the whole time.

 

Winter is a killer for the Gas bill, especially if you are old and sat at home and have the central heating on all day and all night for several months - you are talking serious moola - the sort of amount you could only achieve by taking out a huge loan or even re-mortgaging your house. If you are very old I suggest getting a load of lodgers (preferably not students) in - quick smart - ready for Winter 2004. Or go one better - apply for a grant from the government to set up your own home for the elderly.
