Curry can actually make the situation worse (not that that stops me eating it at every opportunity!) The chillis can irritate your bowels.

 

Go for Rennies or something like that -- they take effect surprisingly quickly -- give Tony a nose-peg! I've also got some "Oil of Peppermint" tablets from Holland & Barrett which I think are supposed to help.

Thanks for the advise everyone & I think LE's tip ref the nose peg has got to be the favourite with all at my house, it is now sunday morning & im still suffering.

 

I think having a few spoonfulls of Frazzles vindaloo didnt do me any favours

If it happens again Lisa, I recommend drinking plenty of that actimel bacteria stuff, wearing loose clothing and eating a can of baked beans for breakfast.
