First club experience.

Right you horrible lot, I want you to tell us all about your first ever clubbing experience

i only go clubbing cos the pubs shut at about midnight, and sleeping is boring.

One evening I got so drunk in the student union bar that I fell off my stool, pointed at people and told them they looked like a troll/goblin/elf (having just watched LOTR), then ended up in a dark dnb night in Nottingham, randomly bought and necked a pill, wandered home, and then came up and squirmed in unbearable bliss on the living room sofa pointing at the ceiling exclaiming how beautiful it was

My first proper clubbing experience was Club Uk in Wandsworth (went totally natural) I was about 14, I can't remember now whether I went with my Mum or not, because she used to frequent it at the time, but I remember thinking this is amazing, I absolutely loved everything about it, the music, the people, and it just carried on from there really!

 

My first experience of taking a pill was I think the following year, I met a guy at Volts (horendous cheesy nightclub in Kingston) he was a student at Kingston Uni, ended up going back to his place in the halls of residence and we just sat drinking and talking at his for a bit then he offered me half a pill, I knew what I was taking, and felt totally relaxed and trusted him enough to do it, so I took a half, sat and waited. I remember after about 30 minutes sitting on the bed waiting for something to happen, and thinking I don't feel any different, he said to me "go and have a look in the mirror" and I went and saw my eyes which were up as anything! Once I had got up and started to move around that was it! It ended up being an amazing night, I talked like i'd never talked before, made love like i'd never had before and thought, hey I quite like this! xxx

my first club experience was in 1997 I think, at Bagleys, was into speed garage

My first clubbing experience was a D n B night in Nottingham, didn't take any pills, but managed to dance until 6am

 

 

Took a pill a few months later, and it wasn't a great one so it just felt like an extension of being drunk, but the next night - just WOW

my first propah club was crasher in sheffield in '99, think it was.....i'd heard about it on radio 1 as being the dogs...3.5 hour mission driving to leeds to meet ppl, then 1 hr down to shef , walked into the club...and thought...."yeah...THIS is a club" SO worth it

 

first messy one would have been sitting on the grass at creamfields 3 years ago, going up like a rocket, not being able to keep my eyes from vibrating and thinking "f**k me"

First proper club night was probably this really sweaty hard techno night in Emporium in Cardiff and being completely sober - except for a girl coming out of a toilet cubicle with about a bag of speed about the size of a small bag of sugar telling me to have some cos I was so nice. Needless to say we declined the offer and cleaned her up a bit. Wasnt impressed with it at all, rammed, very sweaty and music pants.

 

First messy one was Gatecrasher at Cardiff Ice Rink. Soooo sooo nervous as first major event, combined with first proper date and 15 bottles of smirnoff ice (not a good combination) - necked two pills and went out like a light, couldnt even see. Got carried out after an hour and was sick over myself and my date in the taxi. Needless to say we didnt go out again ! Not a sensible night out all round really so let that be a lesson to me

Wasnt till I met Mark that I felt comfortable going out clubbing again I was so embarrassed and completely paranoid about having a crap night or being taken home ! Boy I have definitely learnt some lessons.

Emporium in cardiff is good fun! and been to the ice rink when they had it done up for pete tong and some others i think,
