Meant to start my new job today but been moved back to Wednesday.

 

Really excited to be honest with you and will be great to be back working. Its back with a company I used to work for up till 18 months ago when I left and went to work for someone else. Turned out move wasnt for me and made me completely miserable - but what dont kill you makes you stronger and all that ! Was with this lot for 5 years before I left so now what Im getting into and now realise the grass is not always greener !

 

How come you didnt take the Cardiff job? Shame, we could have been ladies who lunch !!!

Your not wrong there ! The grass deffo ISN'T always greener. I always used to believe it were It's all experience at the end of the day though isn't it and you have to try something at least once to see if is for you !

 

I didn't take this job in Cardiff because the phuckers wanted a skivvy to make tea and coffee !

 

Sod travelling all that way twice a day for that like !

yeah makes sense.. I got approached with a job in Bristol about a month ago. Dream job for me but wanted to pay me the equivalent of 6k less and pay bridge toll, parking - and add an extra hour and a half on my day for the privelege. bugger that - but you are right, unless you look at these things you never know. After all, the things you regret in life are the things you dont do, not the things you do do.

Very philosophical at the moment.
