Its kinda Hard Trance with Euphoric vocal elements - I'm not sure what to do with the beginning of the track though - should it be changed or should I remember when mixing it, the beginning should be "open" and "free" anyway ?

 

Thoughts?

I like the beginning, but then im not a dj, so wouldnt know how it would mix in etc, so that one you will have to work out

Hi Steve it's Tony here:

 

just listened to the full version and i'm really impressed. nice overall sound and feel to it. well done, everything seems to flow nicely and the track works well

 

think this would fit into a trance set very well, possibly a version with slightly less vocals might work well too (but thats just my opinion mate, i'm not a big fan of vocal tracks, but then again 1000's of people are )

 

so what production gear do you use mate?

and how long have you been producing for?

 

oh and thanks for the vsti suggestion

i must start getting some more

 

i'm really enjoying the production side of things, however i'm a long way off completing anything. actually every time i get my head down to make a hard dance track...it's turns out sounding like anything other than hard dance......i've got one that is more like psy trance than anything else...ha ha

I agree its more of a trancer but, I am shamed into insignificance with the likes of Mr. C. Nicholson and Nick Rowland (doing GREAT things lately!

I have a GEMs2Turbo Keyboard/Workstation (a bit dated but it cost ALOT back then!)

FL Studio 4.1

Acid pro4

lots and lots of vsts

 

I also have Makingwaves/LogicAudio/Cubase/ but, don't know enough about them to use them properly.. I'd say I know most about FL Studio which is a wicked bit of software.

 

Touch me was created in Acidpro4 and whilst I like it, I couldn't really call it my own as there's too many bits I've used which aren't mine but, hey, its for fun aint it!

 

I've been writing tunes for as long as I can remember - played piano since a kid, A'd at gcse then I've been doing tracks ever since. I had a load of tracks posted on mp3.com which, sadly, is no more. I've also tunes on Peoplesound, however, they're over fours years old so I wont be supplying the link !!

 

Anyway, if you are interested in some vsts I'd be happy to let you "trial" the software and send you a cd in the post.. provided you uninstall it once you've decided whether you're gonna buy it or not...
