This came as a great shock when i heard on Monday.

 

Although I never got to know Sarah properly she has always been very much more than a familiar face in clubs all around the country.

 

Her hard work and enthusiasm for the scene can't be ignored. It seems so wierd that it was only last week that myself and Morgan were discussing ventures with her.

 

Sarah will be very very much missed. RIP x

I have known Sarah from over 5 yrs and even tho i haven't seen much of her recently she was still one of my good friends ( we looked after each other sometimes when we having too much of a good time ).

 

I saw her last week in Mission and she was her usual happy self. It didn't matter what was going on in her life she was always smiling. It's amazing how many people know her. I still can't believe i'm never gonna see her again. If a night is going to be organised for her i would like to help.

 

When i was leaving mission last week i couldn't find her to say bye

Well, its taken me nearly two years to become a member (despite much nagging from sarah) and most of the week to get myself together enough to sit here and write this.

Sarah was one of my closest friends. Because of DJ'ing, I live in Ibiza every summer so hadn't actually seen Sarah since she came over to Ibiza at the beginning of the season with Rick and Nick. We were however constantly in touch by text, and in fact the last text I got just over a week ago from her was telling me to hurry up and get my ass home. How I wish now that I'd come home earlier.

I actually met Sarah a year and a half ago when she came over to Ibiza with CTW. We went out to what became a legendary dinner - me, Sarah, James, Andy Whitby, Sophie and greg, and Matt Bud (who drank all the wine!!). it was one of the funniest meals I have ever been to and formed the basis of a friendship which from there went from strength to strength. In fact when i returned from Ibiza, I spoke to Sarah on the phone every single night - sometimes two or three times a night depending where we both were or what we were doing. Phone calls that usually had to be worked around her going to one of her many "industry" related meetings, the gym, coming home from work losing her signal in the tunnel through Leeds, skiing lessons with Anderson or her being sat on the computer messaging and emailing the many many people she knew. Or worked around me wherever I was doing my Dj thing. She was always the first person I called when i had some news or something was going on or I needed some advice and was always there to listen. In fact she was one of the reasons I ended up moving from London up North last winter and that led to many weekends of partying together, her coming to my gigs, me going to her house or meeting up to go clubbing somewhere whether it be Leeds, Manchester, Scarborough, Norwich, - she even came to one of my gigs in Italy!!!! Not to mention the three amazing holidays we had when she came over to Ibiza. And on the weekends when we were clubbing at opposite ends of the country or even in different countries you can guarantee that at some stage one of us would call the other at some unearthly hour in the morning just to check who was the most wrecked, or who had maybe fallen off a podium!!!!!!!!!!!!

And now this is just my third day back from Ibiza - I actually got the call telling me the awful news when I was on my way home on Sunday night - and I can't believe that I can't call her to tell her about my last few weeks over there or to arrange to go up to Utopia in Scarborough in a few weeks when I'm playing and she was going to accompany me yet again! Instead I've come back and now have to try and come to terms with losing one of the most special people in my life.

I still can't believe that i am actually sat here typing this and I know I'm rambling on, but just to say one more thing.

To you Sarah, I am going to miss you sooooooooooooooooo much hun. I hope wherever you are that you are at peace with yourself and can see that in your life you touched so many people with your warmth and generosity. I will never forget all the advice you gave, all the phone calls, all the nights we partied, all the jokes we shared and all the support you gave me both personally and with my career. I know for one that I wouldn't have got through one of my most difficult years without you. I love you loads and always will.

The funeral will be 1pm on tuesday the 19th of Oct, at St James' Church in Grimsby. All welcome.

Known Sarah since moving to Leeds around 4 years ago. She has inspired so many, many people both on and off the clubbing scene.

 

Unfortunately, only seen her a couple of times this year as I've not been out and about that much but really feel honoured to have known such a star!!!

 

Sarah PVC, you will be sadly missed.

Hello this is richard used to be on here as "campalena" but using Jodies log on.

 

Just wanted to say how much this has affected me. Several people have commented on how kind sarah was and first memory of her is wen she sorted out my sundissential ticket for norf about 18mnths ago. Its so sad to understand and even try to think that shes gone.

 

Ive been sat here reading peoples thoughts & i can say that i have had tears in my eyes as it starts to sink in. Ive only met her a couple of times but she was the sort of person that i couldnt forget the first time i saw her.

 

Just looking at the picture of her above brings back another memory. Thats in glasshouse @ heaven & hell and think thats another time i met her and jodie introduced me to her. We had a stomp round the dancefloor just in front of the cage. She was always smiling and had her bubble shining brightly. This was back in the days where we would all shout come on u sweaty fcukers! And she would be smiling and laughing - as always.

 

I think the only word i could describe her as was "an enigma" - once seen never forgotton.

 

Sarah, make sure the party dont stop where ever u r!

yes thats wen i met her, i was working behind the bar in hell.

 

I worked at heaven and hell that time. Jodie was out that nite as well. So sad. Ive included a picture that was taken from that nite as well i think wen i was on my break from the bar.

Havent been on this site for a long time but was just browsing about and boy did this stop me in my tracks. Only met sarah a few times, didnt know her very well but was evident from every time i met her that she had a very kind heart and was a genuine person!!

Condolences to her family at such a tragic time.

Clubbing will be different, for me in particular - gonna have to Queue with the masses now!!

 

but everytime we are out gonna have to make room for Sarah to do her attempt at the wiggle, she never managed it in a club, she has eternity to practice it and get it right, ha ha!!!

 

Sarah changed in the last few months like a butterfly from PVC into a Funky chick and she looked fantastic. alot of people did not see the new Sarah, funky boots, short skirts, straightened hair - questionable eye make-up, and I have to add YES she did like FUNKY HOUSE!!!!! I finally got her there.

 

The words to that tune are so nice and hope many people will remember sasrah when they read it.

Sarah lived her life at 100mph, always out dashing around, laughing and having fun, and I shared most of that life with her.

I am happy!!!

nick, ure so rite m8 about her transformation... and the wiggle, i remember when she called herself pvc, then tryhard and then she changed althogether and went funky!!! - everytime she changed, she made the next 1 work so well and suited it perfectly and got it right! and she was so influential that many people changed with her !!!!

Yes you are absolutely right she did transform from pvc to miss funky chic...... miss gorgeous with straight hair.....absolutely stunning oh by the way her favourite version of that song was the layo and bushwacker one..........

I'm goin to miss having a glass or two of wine with her listening to some funky tunes and straightening her hair....... I guess im going to have to do that with you instead nick. ooh lucky you....... i just hope your ready to try on my blusher you got to practise sucking your cheeks in.......
