CTW Members Bungle Posted February 19, 2004 CTW Members Share Posted February 19, 2004 Was thinking about the things clubs to to shake things up a bit, like b2b's and getting djs to play a differnet genre to normal, like passion has been recently and I had a thought. Has a club ever got Djs to swap boxes with someone else? I don't think it'd work too well across genres (can't imagine glazby playing funky etc) but within HH I think it'd work well. Opinions? And before any one else says it: Yes it would be could to see what Lashes could do if she played with Savages box. Quote Anyone fancy a bongle with bungle? CTW Members Mr Happy Posted February 19, 2004 CTW Members Share Posted February 19, 2004 i dont think u'd really notice the difference as 90% oif hardhouse DJs have the same tunes in their box. does sound like an ace idea. maybe more for a squat party or house party tho where you dont feel the pressure of playing a set worthy of the £15 people paid to get in. *wonders what lashes would sound like if she swapped with my box* Quote Mr Happy's fishy fish MangaFish munch munch MSN & e-mail - mangafish@mangafish.net AOL - MangaMorgan Online mixes - http://www.mangafish.net/mixes/

CTW Members BenRW Posted February 19, 2004 CTW Members Share Posted February 19, 2004 playing out of other peoples boxes at tw4 was a nightmare as none of it was my style of music. Gonna be bringing me own tunes this time round Quote I was going to post a gag about flagellation, necrophilia and bestiality but it's just flogging a dead horse. Thats bollox, complete bollox. Agreed! (Did I just agree with you drew? Shit) Admittedly if was someone like the tidy boys and lashes there wouldn't be much of a difference. But if there were intentionally different styles paired up it would be quality. I'd like to hear Bk Vs Haliwell Savage Vs phil reynolds And of course Glaza Vs Pin up!
