Whether our Lashed parties are held in Ibiza, Australia, Russia, London, Scotland or South Africa we always fill up the venues and sadly, often see ourselves having to turn away thousands of people! So for those who have never lived a Lashed experience and those who want to relive it, we have launched a radio show on www.puredance.co.uk that is aired every Thursday between 9 and 11pm. And the man in charge is our popular and tremendous resident DJ A-Star.

Similar to the worldwide Lashed parties, ‘Lashed Digital’ will look to cover a wide spectrum of dance music from all things Hard to Techno, Trance, Funk, Breaks and Electro bought straight to you in the comfort of your own home. So all of you unfortunate enough not to attend a Lashed Extravaganza tune in to hear A-star play you just what you’re missing out on!

Every week A-Star includes a guest mix from fellow acclaimed DJs, top internationals such as Lisa Lashes, Rob Tissera and BK and up and coming talent. This Thursday will dedicate a whole hour to funky house queen Charlotte Birch.

Charlotte Birch is one of the top female DJs in the UK and in her genre of music across the world. She bought her decks in 1996 and began playing funky house and classics. She is now a rising star and regularly guests at most Clubs in the UK including: Goodgreef, Sundissential, Slinky, Pams House, Frisky, Virus, Drop Zone, Polysexual, Frantic, Lashed, Tidy events etc.

Her international status is now being recognised worldwide with regular visits to America, Australia, New Zealand and Holland. She has been asked back for a repeat performance in January 2005 which will be her fourth time out there. In the States she has graced the decks in Seattle, Los Angeles, San Fransisco and Hollywood, and returns to the USA in October 2004 for the seventh time. She has a large fan base in Holland, playing for HQ, 4 Elements (8000 people), HQXXL (5000 people) and even the legendary Street Parade in Rotterdam playing to 40,000 mad for it clubbers on the back of a lorry through the streets of Rotterdam.

With regular performances in Ibiza and other European clubs - Falaraki, Benidorm, Kavos - throughout the summer months, 2004 has been one of her best years to date and Dropzone Management have now opened their diaries for 2005.

Charlotte’s production is going from strength to strength with hits in 2004 including “Rompastompa” (Tidy) which hit No7 in the National UK Dance chart & featured on the Tidy Boys

Mix Extreme Euphoria & Lisa Lashes Summer Bangers Mix Mag CD.

In March 2004, her own label Drop Zone Recordings was launched. The first release Charlotte Birch v Colin Barratt “Let the Show Begin” and “Beat the Drums” was licensed to Lisa’s “Lashed Australia Album” and “Goodgreef’s Album”. It received plays on Radio 1 and had huge support from Rob Tissera, Lisa Lashes, Anne Savage and all major Dj’s. Dropzone 002 “Get Down” Aug 2004 featured on the Tidy Summer Camp album. Dropzone 003 “You Don’t Stop” features new Tidy boy wonder Colin Barratt, under his new guise Duke Hazard and is released Nov 04.It also features a Charlotte Birch v Digital Cowboy aka Ingo remix. This partnership has been doing some serious damage over the last 12 months. This has once again been snapped up by the one and only RobTissera for his Hard House anthems 6 mix.

Quite an impressive year for Charlotte who is now tackling her long awaited clubwear range. She surely is one busy lady!

Enjoy the show!
