Slinky @ The Opera House, Bournemouth Room 1 (hard house) Andy Farley, Paul Glazby, Paul Maddox, Tim Lyall Room 2 (drum & bass) Hype, Orbit, Element, Marlo, MC Sky It's a bit more "hard house" orientated than I would usually go for, but I haven't been to Slinky for a while and it's always a good night. The only guy I've seen before is Tim Lyall (resident DJ) who is great; however I have heard good things about the others. I am informed that Glazby/Maddox/Farley play the more technoey end of HH...? I'm definitely going to this, with a handful of mates I haven't seen for a while. Just thought I'd stick up a post, in case anyone else happens …

Doors open at 10:00pm and we finish at 4:00am (managed to get an extra 30 mins!!!) and the admission is just £8 or £7 with an NUS card, and remember - no stripy jumpers, no Rockport (because they are just wrong) and no scallywear. For all of those into the trance king himself, this was a 9 hour set not to be missed. Me and a bunch of friends, some of whom, i hadnt seen for almost a year, ventured into Air just after 10pm and the place was heaving! We stood on the stairs overlooking the maestro for 10 mins but our feet were itching so we ventured into the amazing atmosphere downstairs. From old classics such as Freefall's Skydive and Gouryella, to "Holding on to Nothing" and some hands in the air from the brilliant Red Karma feat Tom Wolff, "From one to another" (my favourite track of the moment and if you havent got mixmag this month, go out and buy it, the AVB CD is another superb freebie). The da…

All, What a fantastic night last Saturday was at SE1 - I absolutely f^cking LOVE that venue. Well done to Wildchild & Frantic - they've got the organisation of these events down to a 'T' and as such run the best events in London, period. HUGE thanks, yet again, to all those CTWers who made it and supported our DJ Phil B(enson) - I think you will all agree he rocked it as ever - REALLY getting into his set - cos he loves it, as much as we do - on the dancefloor with the rest of us before and after his set - I really cant fault the guy and judging by the feedback from many members here and people from others sites/groups I know I think he's certain to do well …
