2 pointsAfter 11 years of waiting, Xfer Records has finally released Serum 2! The legendary wavetable synthesizer has been completely redesigned and expanded with numerous new features. While the original is known for its clear sound quality, intuitive operation and flexible sound design, the new version takes the concept to an even higher level with new features. And that’s really impressive after the first version! In addition to an improved oscillator architecture and expanded effects routing options, Serum 2 now offers an arpeggiator and clip sequencer that greatly enhance the creative workflow. Most importantly, the update is free for all existing Serum users – a move that impressively underscores Xfer Records’ promise of lifetime updates. Wow! ... Tidy 30 Weekender Festival (25th - 27th April 2025)
Tidy 30 Weekender Festival (25th - 27th April 2025)
James reacted to ClubTheWorld for a post in a topic
1 pointAbout Tidy Faithful and intergalactic party people of the universe, Tidyland proudly present a new chapter in their Weekender journey. Join them on 25th, 26th and 27th April 2025 as they descend to Park Dean's Vauxhall Holiday Resort in Great Yarmouth. This is the return of the much loved Tidy Weekender, where they will be celebrating their 30th anniversary. THE FUTURE IS OURS IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING THIS EVENT Although we are celebrating 30 years of Tidy Trax and many of you will have enjoyed the Tidy Weekenders before, this event is different to previous Weekenders so please take a minute to read this important information: FAQ's Q. Is this the same site as Pontins? No. This site (owned by Park Dean) is a completely different place. Although it’s still a holiday park, it’s a 5 star resort with a much higher level of accommodation & facilities. This is the new home of Tidy Weekenders and the start of a new chapter. Q. What is the difference in the types of rooms? Park Dean has a very extensive array of accommodation available. All the rooms are of a very high standard and the festival have done their best to group the rooms in (what they feel) are appropriate grades of the accommodation, however there are slight differences within these groups. The rooms are allocated on a first come, first served basis so the better grade rooms will be given to people who book early. Q. How are the rooms sold for this event? In the past we have sold tickets to the Tidy Weekenders on a per person basis. At this event we are selling the tickets on a PER ROOM basis. It’s completely up to you how many people you bring with you, however you can only bring people up to the maximum number of beds in the room you have booked. This means if you want to bring just two people and have space you can do (but you will pay more per person for the room) and if you fill up all the beds, it will work out cheaper per person. Q. I booked for the postponed Tidyland Wet & Wild Weekender due to take place in 2024. Can I come to this event? If you booked for the postponed 2024 event and requested a refund, you will have to book your place as normal. If you booked and retained your booking, one of our customer service team will be in touch to discuss your options for this event. For full event FAQ's please see the official Tidy Weekender Website: tidyweekender.co.uk ROOM INFORMATION Standard Ticket (from just £150 per person) Mobile Home Accommodation. 1 pointDanny Roberts – Pure Exile (April ’08 Techno/Tech House/Minimal Mix) This is the latest mix I have done, and one of the promo cds I will be taking out with me to Ibiza for the summer. Its a big combo of different levels and styles of the tech based music I can play, all around 130bpm and giving a lot of groovy, tough techy vibes. 1 pointDJ at Serious, Goodgreef, Passion, WiLDCHiLD, Sensoria & more... Radio Broadcasts on Trance Air Waves, Global DJ Broadcast, BPM Radio, Soundstation & more... Well it has been a busy few months so far since the beginning of 2004. As you may know, Genix and I now run our own record label - Trance Revolution Recordings (TRR), we are very busy in the studio with productions, i'm pushing more and more at new nights for DJing, and I still hold onto a fulltime job in between! As i say..... busy times!! Read on to find out more: The Record Label Trance Revolution Recordings had massive success with the debut release - "Havannah" - which really set the label off to a cracking start and instantly gave the TRR brand some credibility in these difficult times for Record labels. The 2nd track which is by Genix and I entitled "Oracle - Aries", is hitting the shelves of record shops worldwide as you read this. We've had awesome feedback from DJ's all over the World, and "Aries" has been regularly heard on Radio shows both online and normal broadcast. TRR003 will be on its way to the key players within the next few weeks now and will definitely cement the TRR name in people's heads. "Auriane - Soundwave" is a track by Armada's Perry O'Neil & Ferruccio Trebaldi and comes with a fantastic remix by Genix. As for future release on TRR, see the list below. Please keep an eye on the TRR website for changes and updates!! Forthcoming releases on TRR: TRR003 Auriane - Soundwave TRR004 Whirlpool & Octagen - Alaska TRR005 Genix & Andy Bagguley pres. Oracle - Eclipse TRR006 Kyamoto - Frosted The Production As previously mentioned, Genix and I are currently very busy in the studio. Following on from our first 2 tunes: "Oracle - The One" on Equilibrium Records and "Oracle - Aries" on our own TRR label; we have nearly finished our 3rd project entitled "Oracle - Eclipse". We have both been playing an unfinshed version a few times and getting some great feedback, hence we have decided to put this out on TRR as release #5. We have recently finished our Remix of the MASSIVE "Ozone - Rock" for Gesture Records. "Oracle's Trance Revolution Remix" will be promoing soon along with new vocal mixes. We have some more remix work coming up so please keep ya ears peeled. The DJing This year has seen many more doors open for me as a DJ. As well as my regular slot at Passion @ Emporium, I have so far played at Goodgreef @ Philips Park Hall, Serious @ The Cross, Club Lipa in Slovenia, Existence, Frisky @ Legends, Hotdog and more. This year has seen a massive rise in my online DJing also. I now hold a monthly show on Trance Air Waves (tranceairwaves.com), as well as featuring regularly on DI:FM (di.fm), Soundstation 351 (soundstation351.net), Global DJ Broadcast (globaldjbroadcast.com) and more. I have also done a series of mixes recently for Radio shows around the UK on normal broadcasts. In April I had a guest mix on Vibe101 FM for Big Al from Escape in Swansea and a guest mix on Galaxy FM for Paul Kershaw. Both mixes got some great reactions! On May 28th I have a guest mix and chat on Galaxy again but with Andi Durrant this time! As for future club bookings, I have some great gigs coming up; many new nights as well as all my residencies around the UK. A massive night for me that i'm really looking forward to is the combination of 2 massive clubs: Wildchild & Slinky!! These 2 clash on Sunday May 30th at the legendary venue 'Heaven' in London with a great line-up of DJ's including Guy Ornadel, Lange, Lisa Lashes, BK, Riley & Durrant, Reece Elliot v Guffy, JFK, Brisky, Andy Bagguley and more. See links at bottom of page for more details. On the same night as that, i'm also playing at Frisky v Passion in Northampton, so a hectic night is definitely on the cards. Keep an eye on my diary page of my website for more bookings as they are confirmed. Reviews Just as a quick reminder to all you industry people out there, I now review records / CD's for the massive online magazine 'I:Vibes' (ivibes.nu). Please get all your new tracks over to me as soon as you can and I will try my best to review as many as possible. Well thats it from me for now. I'll finish off with a quick selection of my current favourite tunes. Thanks for taking the time out to read what is happening in my world. Please get in touch if you have any questions, booking requests or general enquiries. 1 pointDJ Freano We first met DJ Freano (Robin Frean) in Brighton when we paid The Honeyclub a visit back in March! A few days after meeting him he registered with us here at ClubTheWorld and has given us untold amounts of information about clubs and DJ's! We met up with him again for the Gatecrasher event at the NEC Birmingham in April and on meeting him halfway he gave us a mini-disc with what he had mixed! I can tell you now that both me and James couldn't believe what we were hearing, the mixing was absolutely superb, the tracks were fantastic and it was an ideal warm-up for the Gatecrasher event, this was ClubTheWorld.uk Volume 1 and hopefully very soon we will be able to download it onto this site where everyone else can listen to his excellent work! He is currently working on ClubTheWorld.uk Volume 2 which should be ready soon, once again we will keep you fully updated on this! DJ Freano also has his own website where you can see what hes up to and where he'll be playing at www.aptrecordings.com it also has other useful bits of information! We are pleased to say that DJ Freano is fully on board with us here at ClubTheWorld continually providing us with very useful information and is also now the CTW Rep for Brighton! We're gonna here alot more from Rob when he gets more dates and venues when hes playing! DJ Tony P DJ Tony P. only registered with ClubTheWorld a few weeks ago and since then he has kept us updated on where hes playing! Coincidently he was playing at Smile @ The Viaduct on Saturday 25th May when we were due to be paying a visit! His set on Saturday was superb, some top tunes were being played out to keep both myself and the crowd happy! It must be a dream to have your name shouted out when you're banging out the tunes as they were at The Viaduct! Tony has even got his own Residency at a club (sorry, cant remember the name!) in Stevenage, Herts which begins in October with the likes of Graham Gold and after his set at The Viaduct I am not suprised, it was awesome! There will be more dates lined up over the coming weeks and Tony has said he will keep us at ClubTheWorld informed of future dates he will be playing! I've heard this guy and like Rob can say that its definately worth going to see him whenever you can make it! The best thing about these two guys is that they are quality people who I'm know will go far! ClubTheWorld will do everything possible to help these guys and every other new DJ thats just starting to make it out, they have our total support and will be with them every step of the way to make sure they get to the very top!!! Thank you once again to both DJ Freano and DJ Tony P who have provided us with invaluable information! We aim to return the favour to you to make sure to get there!!! 1 pointit's just getting stupid now, people come on and post events or spam, who don't ever bother to make any other contributions to the board. and then they just go and repeat themselves and post the same details in random bollocks, with something like "hey all u mad clubberz!! is anyone going to CrapNight at CrapVenue???" or "join this competition, it's grreat!! i don't work for the company that runs it, honest!!!" have a dedicated spam forum then all the event suggestions posts from non-members can go in there, then everyone's happy - people can still check the spam forum for ideas of places to go, and promoters can still post. if you're needing someone to do it then i will happily volunteer.1 point- Ibiza plans...

1 pointMy review on Ibiza 2002! ... Pics up soon!!!!! Saturday 13th As soon as we got there what more can I say but beach!……. in the evening me and @Tara weren’t sure what we were gonna do, so we met up with @disco-stu and his mate mike of the site, what can I say about these 2…. Two very TOP people! Two of the nicest people I have been out with in ages and to be honest miss not going out with them now im home! We met them at café del mar…. I loved this bar! Its so chilled out! If I had the money I would buy it and live there!!! We decided to have a night in the west end, just to get our bearings! We ended up going to what was the best club in terms of music that I went to all night! I fucking LOVED IT to put it bluntly! And I am sure Tara will tell you how much! Cos I don’t think she ever saw me dance so mental before!! The club itself, is called Play 2 the music was the best Trance I ever heard! Plus it was free so was an added bonus! When you go to Ibiza this is a definite place to go! Sunday 14th - Judgement Sunday @Eden Was expecting a top night out… but…… I loved Eden was such a cool venue! However Judge Jules was absolute bollocks! And so was Ferry Corsten! couldn't believe it and it really pissed me off! Judge Jules was the worst I had ever heard! It was like Drum & Base mixed in with Trance! It was well weird shit! Also there were a group of about 30 Scottish lads, one of whom Tara got on with he was ok, his mates did nothing but fuck me off all night! There chat up lines were shit! And if they thought I was gonna pull a drunken larger lout, then they had another thing coming!! Euuuugggghhh! Anyway I got so pissed off by the crap music and the annoying men that I decided to leg it at about 5 am!! I walked home on my own….HOW MAD WAS I????? Anyway I get chatting to these 2 lads who were so genuine! I gave um a CTW card and got there number so they are gonna meet up with me they came from Harlow. They walked me the whole way back to my hotel cos they thought I was gonna get raped or something, they were really top people! I also met this really cool guy called Peter, and his girlfriend, this was weird as every where I went we seamed to bump into each other! Monday 15th - Manumission @Privilege Well what can I say…. This was fucking mental! NEVER EVER been to something like this before! It was like massive!!!!!! I was even given a map to where everything was in the club! It was so mental! What’s with the swimming pool????? I couldn’t get over it! As for the actual manumission event I did think it was over rated! Very weird and strange! And it was even stranger that we had a full blown power cut half way through for about an hour! Out of ten thousand people, we bumped into auzzi cam and his mates! Cant believe he even spotted me! He was a top person and it’s a shame we couldn’t meet up or go out afterwards! The craziest funniest thing was the dj in the toilet! This was totally mental, but I fucking loved it!!!!! There were people actually dancing in the toilet! And I was one of them!!!!! Me and Tara were gonna go to space afterwards, but we were so bloody knackered I really couldn’t be arsed! Tuesday 16th Tonight I quite wanted a quiet one! So I went off to the garlands party, after the shocking news, I went to get you guys some pics as a kind of remembrance thing! This was again one of my best nights out! I met some lovely lovely people there and gave out a shit load of CTW cards! The music… fucking AMAZING!!!! I think I rang @James that night about 15 times just so he could hear what the music was like! I reckon he must have got well pissed off with me!!! (oh well!) Again, here I met up with Peter and his girlfriend, 2 lovely people! I eventually got in and in bed at about 3 30 am! @Tara went to Godskitchen with the guys… review to come??! Wednesday 17th - Es Paradise - Slink I got really burnt!!!!!! That’s all I can say about the day time! I was well fucked of cos I was burnt! We went to Es Paradise for the Slinky event, this was the best night I had in Ibiza! The club was a fantastic venue and the music was fantastic! I would like to try and arrange a time for us all to go to the slinky event in Bournemouth cos the music was top quality! I absolutely love it! Me and Tara got in at about 7 and munched are way through 2 pots of Pringles before sleeping! Thursday 18th - Cream @Amnesia Tara and disco stu loved this night, but all I can say is.. a waste of money! I thought the club was awful, and they packed so many of us in there we were like sardines! Mike and me did dent really enjoy ourselves at this one and to be honest I thought I was the worst overrated night out I had been on! Tara can say more on this one cos I hated it! The only good thing about this night was the fact I swear I saw j-lo in front of me, but I cant work out if it was her or not! Looked very similar! Friday 20th Me and Tara were knackered all day and were so lazy we got up at about 8 pm, walked around the shops, and then got home for 1ish then went to bed! We got kept up all night buy some drunken very annoying boys. But im not saying more on this matter cos I will get annoyed! They really pissed us off so we did dent sleep till about 4 am and had to be up at 8 for the plane! Saturday 21st Home, and bloody knackered! Pissed off cos @James was nasty to me as soon as I got home so I have now ended up sat at my PC writing this review and balling me eyes out! I don’t wanna be in England! And I am considering not going to uni and just taking a year out to work and then moving and living in Ibiza! Ibiza gave me a shit load of time to think about life…. Not going into it all or anything, but I am warning you all now, I WILL BE CHANGING! There's a lot about me and my life I absolutely hate, and I've just realised it! You will all see a dramatic change with me so be warned! Im not the innocent quiet person you all think I am!. Hopefully I will be able to get the pics up ASAP! I gotta scan 100 pics in so bear with me people! @James - do you want me to put the photos onto a CD and give them to you that way as it will take me days to email them, plus then I can put them all in order!???
