I dont know bout anybody else but I thought the tidy boyz played the hardest set of the nite. I was so fooken awesome. I danced my ass off until I could dance no more that is until my mate gave me something nice......hahahha

Don't know if i heard the tidyboys at TidyLondon but I bet it was their bootleg mix "OVER THE LINE", as the last two sets i've heard them play have been identical

must admit i'm less and less keen on the tidy boys now - seem to be more of an 'act' - but fair play to 'em ! Just was disappointed at HHA the other week - far too many mistakes - and for me to spot them they must've been bad !

I know what you mean James. But sometimes they are fuckin tops, think they just gotta play sets which aren't planned. Or stop repeating sets.

yeah, guess you're right tone - to be fair i tend to judge every night individually anyway and there are lots of ingredients which go into making it a 'blinder' or a 'nightmare' - depending on the crowd/atmosphere it can sway my view of the DJs playing - even if they played the same set better/worse at a previous event so I guess I'm being a tad unfair ! When you're occupied and enjoying yourself I guess you dont tend to judge too much and so any mistakes or blinder mixes would go un-noticed.

 

I'm certaintly not one of these people who think a DJ is a god forever just because he 'dropped a blinder' in 1998 in Space, Ibiza!!

ko, so i've just been checking my diary and realised that the other day when I started posting this I was scheduled to have a 'bad mood day' and felt like in a sort of 'digging mode' - Tidy ARE indeed tops, I guess it was probably just the fact that they have been doing stuff for so long now sometimes they look 'too' automatic when mixing unlike someome like Farley who executes his actions like a Military Precision Operation ! I know I know, stop comparing ... As you know I'm 'new to this game' and I've only just twigged that Farley is the master with Reynolds close behind (in my opinion) so why settle for anything less? - o yeah, variety ...

 

AR*E - just realised I wasted the whole of yesterday (sat) sleeping, its now sunday, not got up yet, and less than half a day left b4 [censored] - *eeeeek

Tidy Boys are a proper act, jumping around the stage is great fun to watch, and they always hype the crowd up.
