OK where to start. So I started clubbing around 2001 when a good friend I worked with took me to a Trance event in Milton Keynes. I met some really great people and found my love of the music. Trance came first and then Hard House. A year on I was pregnant and gave up for a while losing contact with anyone I met. Being a single mum I found it difficult to meet new people especially those with a love for the music and the bug to go out and dance. I found CTW and wrote my first post on January 25th 2003. I was looking for like minded people and new friendships but what I found was a whole lot more. There was drama, passion, friendships and even love. I met some fantastic people through this website and have stayed friends with many of them despite us all growing up and leading our normal lives. Many of us settling down, marrying and having children. I met my first real love and many of my real friendships through this website and had some fantastic times and a whole host of memories that have lasted. I met DJ's, Producers, visited cities and clubs I had never been to before, experienced weekenders and without CTW I never would have had all that, It was a place where you did not need local friends to go to a club with because we all met up before the events and went together. Everyone was so welcoming and real friendships were formed. My hope is that this place can be that once again, Maybe not for us old timers who for many cant go out as often as we would like but to give the new generation the same thing we all had. Organised meetups which were safe and welcoming, friendships so you didn't feel alone, romances and love. We were one big family There was also plenty of arguments, hatred, nastiness, heart break, etc. Some of which I had a big part of but I had real friendships and some of those friendships have lasted the past 16 years. For the parts I played and I think there was plenty I am sorry Like many I was young, naive and pretty messed up in the head at the time. At the same time I had support through some of the darkest times, No one turned their back on you and they told you if you was out of line even if you didn't want to hear it. CTW was a safe place for me and the people I met will always hold a special place in my heart. I hope all the new people who read this can get the same experience as I had because without all of the CTW family I would not be the person I am now. So I was about to name everyone but there are too many to list so to all those over the years Thank you for the memories, For kicking my butt into touch, for putting up with me and for the lasting friendships ever since. Because truly you do not know what it means to me. Now I will shut up cause I cant half talk some waffle, That certainly hasn't changed.

Not seen the CTW logo for a looooong time!! Looking back at my old posts on here looks like I left around 2004, 16 years ago wow!!! Feel really old now 🤣🙈 I have James on my Facebook and think Finn too so have still seen snippets of what they have been up to in that time but apart from that not heard from anyone else since!! Some nice nostalgia reading back on old posts 😁 hope everyone is good anyways 👍🏼

..Simon and I were the lucky holders of Tomorrowland tickets. It was like something out of the Willy Wonka story. This year, I'm watching it all unfold all over the internet while tickets have been released. Whilst feeling extremely lucky that our first attempt bagged us tickets and one hell of a ride and definitely happy not to attend for another few years because finally, we did it, I still feel a bit jealous watching everyone on Reddit talk about gaining tickets! It was a bloody awesome experience, though! But I'm just thinking of the 3k we are saving instead 😅

I think a few of us feel a bit Emotional about it all. 😂 might sound really sad but I’ve been smiling for the past week loads. Reading old posts and chatting like we used to on here. listening to mixes again and digging old pictures out. lots of really good memories. got some old friendships back that were lost. real life got in the way and we forget the important parts of the past. Parts that made us and helped us grow ah I sound all grown up while still writing mission statements. (Thanks @Maria) 🤣

It’s not the same version Si, it’s a special tablet version. Stripped down. there is a tablet version of cubase I think (Also stripped down) and obviously GarageBand where the files can open in logic. if you want to do it seriously you’re best working on a pc or Mac 👍

we now have yet another staffordshire bull terrier before xmas we had KC off my friend but because she was such a playful dog we decided she needed a companion as she would never leave us alone we didnt plan to get another dog till we moved into our new house in a few weeks but my bf was over the park 2 days ago and this male staff came over to play with KC when its owner finally showed up he gave him to my bf as he was fed up of him. He is the same age as KC and really friendly, although he keeps trying to hump everything in sight, KC has showed him whos boss in this house. hes booked in for neutering on monday so hopefully he will stop being so randy.

I’m still buying vinyl now. Not really club music but more soul from the 70’s. It’s nice just to play vinyl. The crackles and pops add to the experience

🎵Memories, pressed between the pages of my mind Memories, sweetened thru the ages just like wine, Memories, memories, sweet memories 🎶 Ok this post is not to sing Elvis songs but it popped to mind. Memories of getting ready to go out. It sometimes took weeks to organise the events we attended. A huge part of the fun was the build up especially for those who planned a whole proper outfit and theme. Finding the right outfit, colour scheme for your cyber dots, finding a decent novelty bag, the actual getting ready on the day: man that could take hours especially if you decided to go with mad hair. I remember a storm event where I had to do lots of little buns in my hair and tie coloured pipe cleaners around each one so I had swirly black and red things sticking out my head (Si that was when I went with you), At other times I had space buns or bunches and pink and white pipe cleaners coming out of them. Making my furry boots and at one time a full outfit I made myself out of fur. The whole build up to just one event was amazing. and then we had last minute decisions on when we went out like Gods kitchen NEC I only knew that weekend 🤣 And i've just found the old emoji's Anyone else want to chip in?

OK. Here goes.... Still live in Prestatyn. Got married, had 2 girls 10 & 6. In the final process of divorce, my ex and I still get on really well, still friendly and amicable. Hooked up with Maria about 18 months ago, she now lives up in Prestatyn with me and, we are waiting for a completion date on a property. Crazy how stuff turns out.....😍 We are both bang into Tecnno and have started attending events again this last 12 months. We have done Tomorrowland, Warehouse Project and a few other smaller nights. This year we have booked Awakenings in Amsterdam & Junction 2 so far......
